I discovered mentoring by subtraction—by distinguishing it from coaching, training, and consulting. Then I came to understand it by addition, by integrating skills, experiences, and mutual learning, all of which are essential to practice it at its best.
We should never stop challenging ourselves and learning. We do it for ourselves, for others—and simply because it matters.
To do so requires quality, professionalism, capability, empathy, and the ability to engage in dialogue—both with ideas and emotions, with words and with silence.
I am deeply grateful to Rossella Pin and Cristiano Abbate, who at Mentor Lab have created a programme of such high quality. I am grateful to them also for who they are as people.
It is a challenging journey—first and foremost with oneself—and one I strongly recommend to anyone willing to step in and grow.Mirko Veratti — Italy, Corporate Training
